Easter Egg Painting: How Art Finds Its Way Into Every Corner of Life
Art, for me, has always been more than just color on canvas—it's a bridge. A bridge between cultures, religions, and nationalities. It’s a unifying force, a way to celebrate diversity while finding common ground. One of the things I love most is experiencing and honoring traditions from various cultures through art.
Easter egg hunts were never part of my childhood growing up in India, but after moving to the USA I enjoy the tradition. When my kids were younger, they looked forward to Easter egg hunts with such excitement. Even now, my daughter still enjoys collecting those colorful eggs with a smile that brings back all the memories. So this Easter, I decided to paint another set of wooden eggs—each one with a bit of whimsy and joy. And I wanted to share the video of the cutest one I painted this year. It’s not really my usual style, but it was absolutely perfect for my daughter and hopefully it will be perfect DIY for your kids and grandkids. I hope you enjoy it and have fun painting it.
While many of these small, hand-painted objects like wooden eggs or soaps aren’t listed on my website (yet!), they are absolutely available for order. If something catches your eye or you’d like a custom design, feel free to reach out through the contact form on my website or simply drop me a message on social media. I’m always happy to create something meaningful just for you.
Art has this beautiful way of weaving into our lives—not just through galleries and exhibitions, but through the little things too. Whether it’s a bookmark tucked into your favorite novel or a painted egg nestled in an Easter basket, each piece carries with it a personal story, a brushstroke of joy.
Thanks for being here and for supporting me and my journey!
